A shining manifesto in defence of our democracy

‘We need you!’ The motto of the Tollwood Winter Festival illuminates the Theresienwiese this winter. When darkness falls, the tent roofs are transformed into canvases on which art and democracy merge in a dance of light and colour. The projections radiate a clear message: The community, the we, is only as strong as the individual, the you. Our democracy needs everyone, every one of us, to shine!

In collaboration with Lumine Projections, Tollwood is designing the luminous manifesto in defence of our democracy; for peace, freedom and our values. Symbols and messages show in the darkness over Munich: It’s about our common future.

Lumine Projections
The Viennese creative company Lumine has been staging impressive 3D video mappings and panoramic projections for over two decades. They design projects from idea to realisation and have already effectively staged well-known buildings such as the MQ Vienna and the Parliament in Bern.
