The Weißwurscht-Jazz Matinee: The Hot Stuff Jazzband

Jazz in the upstairs parlour, Swingin’ Entertainment

Hot stuff from jazz and swing is played by the mini big band around Heinz Dauhrer, Butch Kellem, John Brunton, Eric Steven and Hermann Roth. Their performance is characterised by dynamic big band-style riffs and call-and-response improvisation between trumpet and trombone. Their repertoire includes jazz classics and songs from the 30s as well as funky and Caribbean rhythms from the 70s. They also include interpretations of selected songs from well-known Walt Disney films.
