Pink Floyd are part of rock history – and Nick Mason is a crucial part of it. With his band Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets, founded in 2018, the drummer will be performing important early works by Pink Floyd on 9 July in the Tollwood Musik-Arena. The band will take you back to the era from “The Piper At The Gates of Dawn” from 1967 to “Obscured By Clouds” from 1972, including a much-praised rendition of the 23-minute epic “Echoes”. Together with Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken, Nick Mason, founding member of Pink Floyd and present on all albums and tours, delivers this piece of rock history to the Tollwood Summer Festival: ” immense, electrifying, galvanising, mesmerising” – as the Daily Telegraph wrote.
