A declaration of love to folk music

Maxi Pongratz travels between Obergiesing and Oberammergau with his accordion and guitar. He became famous with the band Kofelgschroa and has been touring solo since 2019. At his concerts, he examines life with “groping profundity and inspires with his erratic, brittle and associative announcements” (AZ). Everyday life is what everyone knows, but under Maxi Pongratz’s gaze it becomes strange, so that you can get to know him and yourself anew.
