The drums pound, the brass section grinds and the polyphonic vocals and the occasional violin provide a pleasant airiness. Buck Roger and The Sidetrackers are difficult to categorise in terms of genre – folk, swing and rock ‘n’ roll are the musical corners in which they move. But one thing is for sure: with multi-part vocals and individual songs that celebrate joie de vivre and good humour, they’ll have any audience in a good mood from the first song.
