Raw, melancholic and idiosyncratic – Stefan Berchtold and his band The Deed perform their own songs with plenty of punch. Poetic lyrics meet the lyrical jazz trumpet of Albrecht Huber: the garb is 60s, the grooves between ska, swing, rock and Cajun, the lyrics melancholic, the music rough, danceable and full of hope.
