Commissioned by the Vulgar Ministry of Ethnic Transport and Tourist Information, Dillitzer have been unleashing a veritable fireworks display of good entertainment for over 15 years. The “Süddeutsche Zeitung” has described the sound of the Munich quintet as a “transylvanian mix of musical styles”: absurd and coherent, rousing and insane, the monozygotic quintuplets from the beautiful country of Vulgaria bash their sounds around the ears of the audience. Indie rock, dusted-off popular songs, Balkanesque and disastrous – boredom stays at home.
