Trio Lias

An acoustic trio with two guitars and three voices – that’s Trio Lias. They play a mix of Canzone Napoletana and Caribbean Calypso of the 30s to 70s. Guitarist Amedeo Tortora subtly translates these into Bavarian dialect, creating a mix of cultures that is at times humorous, at times poignant, but always surprising. In addition, the trio’s repertoire includes pop, ska and punk from the last 40 years. The youngest in the group, Florian, also shapes the sound of Trio Lias with his “funky style” and virtuoso guitar playing.
