Treibauf

Surprising and outrageous – that’s what Treibauf stands for. The Munich band brings Bavarian music, ska, Balkan sounds and Irish music to a European tradi-mix. Nothing is there as you might expect. The band plays old folk dances and songs accompanied by driving ska and polar rhythms. The double bass is in front, violin, ziach and electric guitar right next to it, band founder Tobi sings in eight original languages. The groove is in the room. You want to listen – but above all you want one thing: to dance!
