The Ukelites

Jungle Swing brings The Ukelites into the tent. With their first album and many other songs, the quartet around the ukulele-playing singer Miriam Hein will take the audience to Hawaii. Not only the choice of titles, but also the instrumentation of this band is unusual – in addition to the ukulele, ukulele bass, baritone saxophone, or the Hawaiian guitar are used, supported by wild broom use on the drums. Musically, The Ukelites offer classics of jazz and the Great American Songbook, 60s soul and rhythm ‘n’ blues, country, Hawaiian classics or surprises. Aloha!
