The Roaring Zucchinis

The Roaring Zucchinis offer the audience a journey through time from the beginnings of swing music in the 1930s to the era of big bands in the 1940s to the Las Vegas show bands in the 1950s and 1960s. They add Italo-Swing music and songs from today’s pop era to their repertoire – interpreted in a swinging way, of course. So besides “Sing, Sing, Sing” they also play Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”, Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers. Originally, the band formed for the wedding of a work colleague – but even after more than 25 years, The Roaring Zucchinis are still on stage – this time in the Andechser tent.
