The Spider Murphy Gang (SMG) from Munich can be considered one of the most successful music bands of the “German New Wave” that swept through the country’s discos three decades ago. Their tracks “Skandal im Sperrbezrik”, and “Schickeria” have reached cult status by now.
The band has now arrived at a level where they have always wanted to be: They are more successful than ever. They have filled the Olympia stadium twice in the past years and fascinate their audience with their new idea of unplugged concerts. Their movie “Spider Murphy Gang – Glory Days of Rock ‘n’ Roll” has recently been much talked about: It tells the story of a friendship amongst musicians, who celebrat great success with Bavarian Rock ‘n’ Roll. We are looking forward to having them play on the big stage of the Musik-Arena!
The concert of The Spider Murphy Gang was postponed to 22.06.2022 due to the Corona pandemic. Tickets from 2020/2021 (25.06.2020 / 23.06.2021) remain valid for the new date. Neither exchange nor re-registration is necessary.
Dear Tollwood-Visitors, please take note of the safety advice for the “Musik-Arena”. There will be body checks at the entrance and your bags will be searched. We generally advise our concert guests to refrain from bringing medium-sized and / or large backpacks and large handbags in order to accelerate access to the “Musik-Arena”.
