What a festival opening show! Rea Garvey, the gentle Irishman with the mighty voice in the music arena, this will be hard to top.
With new songs, Rea Garvey spreads optimistic messages during difficult times. On June16th, the singer will make a guest appearance at the Tollwood Festival in Munich with his Hy Brasil Tour 2022.
His fifth and so far last studio album “Hy Brasil” was released in 2020, the single “Talk To Your Body” is, according to Rea, “a declaration of love to life”. His current single “Love Makes You Shine” is playing over and over on the radio.
More than 250,000 fans have already had the chance to experience Rea Garvey in the autumn of 2018 and the summer of 2019 in sold-out concert halls as well as open air shows. The so-called “Neon Tour” thrilled audiences with a diverse, gripping canon of songs. “Hy Brasil” is a reference to a mystical Irish island which, according to legends, only emerges from a cloud of mist in the Atlantic Ocean for one day every seven years. Fans have only had to wait two years for a new cycle from the singer-songwriter since “Neon” was certified gold and the singles “Is It Love?” and “Kiss Me” were also gold-plated. All of Garvey’s solo albums have reached the Top 3 and sold millions of copies.
He is bringing current hits of his “Hy Brasil” tour with him, with “Love Makes You Shine” he lets the sun shine in the tent and with “Talk To Your Body” he gives the signal to start dancing
