The concept of Loisach Marci: mixing traditional instruments with modern electro beats. The music duo, consisting of Marcel Engler and Jans-Peter Abele, originally comes from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. They are and have been the “official cultural ambassadors of the state of Bavaria”.

The thoroughbred musicians create an incomparable sound of tradition and modernity, with alphorn, DJ booth and over 13 different instruments that are used alternately. Rhythmic sound experiments mix with isolated text passages, sung in Bavarian, they interpret traditional values in a contemporary way.

Loisach dares the balancing act between tradition and modernity, old and new, and picks his lyrics right out of life.
