Isar Dixie Stompers

The traditional 6-member jazz band Isar Dixie Stompers plays “Goodtime Jazz from Dixieland” with swing and blues elements. From the beginnings of New Orleans Jazz to the Dixieland Revival of the 70s and 80s, the versatile band takes its inspiration from its idols Chris Barber, Kenny Ball, Dutch Swing College Band and Old Merrytale Jazz Band. Through improvisations, the individual band members Georg Reichl, Pavol Zvirinsky, Anton Schlagmüller, Stanislav Jone, Karl Vollmer and Thomas Lemgau add their own personal touch to the titles.
