Hot Lips

Hot-lipped and with a wink, the 6-piece Dixie band plays fresh and own arrangements from ragtime to swing and hits of the ballrooms. They have been snapping their fingers to the lusty groove of old-time jazz since 1988. In the many years of playing experience – in addition to multiple appearances at the Tollwood, they have played at the Paulaner Bräuhaus, among other venues – there have also been changes in the lineup: today the band consists of Michael “Hot Lips” Etzel, Bob Strauß, Steve Crane, Gerhard Rehmann, Günther Wagner and Heini “The Tiny” Buckenmaier.
