Classical, jazz, hip-hop or pop? The musical style of the ten-member band “DOBA” does not fit into any pigeonhole. The Donnerbalkan project began seven years ago, actually as a carnival concert initiated by Munich students. Today, the musicians mix a rousing Balkan sound with thundering brass and musical styles from all over the world. Doba calls their style simply “world pop”.
Doba celebrates with 10 musicians that they have been making pop with Balkan beats for 10 years!
