Classical, jazz, hip-hop or pop? The musical style of the ten-member band “DOBA” does not fit into any pigeonhole. The Donnerbalkan project began seven years ago, actually as a carnival concert initiated by Munich students. Today, the musicians mix a rousing Balkan sound with thundering brass and musical styles from all over the world. Doba calls their style simply “world pop”.
