Shortly before the new Bavarian wave, before La Brass Banda and Claudia Koreck, the “Weißwurscht is” brought their very own musical style, their idiosyncratic Bavarian-German, positive-social-critical lyrics to the people, twittering with eyes and cabaret. With this mixture and their colourful stage show, the crazy musicians transform every concert into a huge dance party. Starting with an anarchistic singer-songwriter band, the band has developed over the last 22 years into a serious gypsy Polkaäggi band with many Balkan ska punk influences.
