The Big Band Theory

Never say never: Anyone who experiences The Big Band Theory on stage immediately notices that these five musicians from Augsburg take their motto literally. With stage outfits reminiscent of funk legends of the 70s and songs that effortlessly unite all styles between jazz, funk and rock, the band has rightly gained a large fan base in their home country. Since 2013, school friends have been rocking through clubs and festivals, turning every gig into a big party. Valentin Metzger (trumpet) and Daniel Korger (saxophone) provide “blower at the highest level” (TrendyOne), which is driven by the power of a unique rhythm group consisting of Patrick Oster (guitar), Pascal Plangger (bass) and Luis Rett (drums).
