John Barden & Clan

Irish Folk

John Barden comes from County Longford in Ireland and now lives in Germany. In 1972 he met his band members in Dublin, with whom he founded the successful group Greensleves, which was also very successful in Germany. For 15 years John Barden was lead singer of the band and played banjo, mandolin, bouzouki and various string instruments. At the end of the 80s he left the band to dedicate himself to other music projects.

Together with his sons John-P. Barden (guitar, tenor banjo & vocals) and Dominic Barden (bass, vocals & guitar) as well as Florian Schanz (keyboards & vocals) he is now on stage worldwide as John Barden & Clan and inspires with Irish Folk.
