Hundling

That’s how home sounds: cool and groovy. Phil Höcketstaller, creative head of the group “Hundling”, doesn’t ride around on musical customs, but tells stories in the most beautiful Bavarian idiom. They are about failed dreamers, black humorous visions of doom or strange declarations of love. And musically, the versatile Munich musician roams a territory ranging from Untergiesing to Nashville and Chicago. In Bavarian, “Hundling” is actually a swearword and means as much as crook or crook. At Höcketstaller it becomes an honorary title – thanks to puns and stage presence.
