How to get to Tollwood
The Winter festival takes place at the Theresienwiese, 80336 Munich.
Please use public transport: U4/U5 stop Theresienwiese
All tickets are valid on the day of the event as MVV-Ticket in the entire MVV-area.

Subway line U4/U5
Theresienwiese (directly at the main entrance) and Schwanthalerhöhe: every 2 - 5 min., in the evening every 5 - 10 min., from midnight only every 10 - 15 min., at weekend till 2 am. Please note: The U4 does not run in the Westendstraße - Schwanthalerhöhe section during the day.
Subway line U3/U6
Goetheplatz: every 2 bis 5 min., in the evening every 5 min., from midnight only every 10 - 15 min., at weekend till 2 am. Please note: On weekdays (Sun - Thu) until 23.12.20, from approx. 0 am restrictions due to construction work in the Münchner Freiheit area

Holzapfelstraße and Hermann-Lingg-Straße: every 10 min., from 10 pm every 20 min.
Bus
CityRing line 58 stop Georg-Hirth-Platz and Goetheplatz: every 5 - 10 min., from midnight every 20 min.,

Hackerbrücke: each line at least every 20 min., in the evening every partially every 40 - 60 min.. Continuous traffic on the main line in the direction of the main station and Ostbahnhof.
MVG Nightline N19, N40, N41, N45
Each night every hour – at weekend every half an hour (N40 every 15 min., N41 between Hart and Aidenbachstraße till 4 am every 15 min.).
Night-Tram N19 stop Holzapfelstraße and Hermann-Lingg-Straße and Night-Bus N40, N41 and N45 stop Goetheplatz.
FAQs
At the Theresienwiese there are designated parking spots for people with impairements. On these parking spots only people with a special certificate of disability (blue parking pass) are allowed to park here.
There is no bus parking at the Tollwood Winter Festival on the Theresienwiese. Please use the Busparkplatz in der Hansastraße.
Parking or driving buses onto Theresienwiese is prohibited by the authorities.
Women* can pick up vouchers for the Women* Night Taxi at the main entrance of the Tollwood Winter Festival during the festival box office opening hours. The vouchers provide financial support for cab rides at night and ensure greater safety in the Munich city area.
How the voucher system works:
- The vouchers can be redeemed for cab rides between 10 pm and 6 am.
- The voucher is worth 10 euros per journey.
- It is valid if the cab goes to a residential address.
- One voucher can be used per cab journey, even if several women travel together.
- Three vouchers can be issued per pick-up, the number of pick-ups is not limited.
Who are the vouchers intended for?
The Women* Night Taxi is aimed at women. This also includes trans* women and women with the gender entry “diverse” as well as non-binary women.
