Inhabitants of Munich demand their city to take more responsibility

For Tollwood cultural pleasures, a zest for life and the commitment to the environment belong together.

Organic farming and species-appropriate animal farming are some of our major objectives. Because: Indrustrial factory farming is health-damaging, animal torture, unsocial, environmentally harmful, unneccessary – and undesired. Farmers increasingly lose the battle against agribusinesses. Even here in Bavaria.

That’s why the Tollwood Festival gastronomy is certified organic since 2003. Therefore, all animal products come from species-appropriate keeping.

If it’s possible for a festival with 1.5 Million visitors per year, it should be easily possible for city canteens, institutions and event catering. That is why we found the Action Group “As Nature Made Them” along with artists, leading figures of the urban community and active organisations.
