Cultural Events at Tollwood

„Risk it and try something new“ – that’s how Tollwood is composing its cultural programme.
In the summer, the festival presents international theatre productions and performances, concerts by music stars and gigs by local and regional bands and artists. Concerning theatre, Tollwood is known for Action Theatre, Physical Theatre and Nouveau Cirque.

In winter, Tollwood offers “the most beautiful Christmas market in Munich” (Abendzeitung) and presents international theatre companies showing vaudeville and circus. Since 2007, the “Weltsalon” is the space for pressing social and ecological topics with well-known guests from culture, politics and economics.
